In 1906 three brothers, Henry, Fred and Gustavus Babson, formed the business association which was to become Babson Bros. Co. Since then, the company has achieved unparalleled success in several fields of manufacturing and marketing, most notably Surge Dairy Equipment. Earlier well known products included the Edison Phonograph, Burlington Watches, Babson Tailor-Made Clothing, and the Melotte Cream Separator. Throughout its history, Babson Bros. Co. has operated on a policy of selling only quality merchandise at a fair price. Customer satisfaction and dependable service have also contributed to the company’s outstanding success. In 1998 Westfalia bought the company from Nicholas Babson, and it became Westfalia-Surge Co. Quality and good service continue to be the main focus of this new corporation. |
